Created by Glee and American Horror Story mastermind Ryan Murphy, 9-1-1 follows the lives of first responders in Los Angeles, from dispatchers to police officers and paramedics.
The authentic forged integrated Angela Bassett as LAPD patrol sergeant Athena Carter Grant Nash and Peter Krause as her husband and LAFD captain Bobby Nash. Angela gained Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series on the 2020 NAACP Awards for her role at the show.
The display has long gone on to inspire a spin-off, 9-1-1: Lone Star, which is based totally in Austin, Texas, and stars Rob Lowe and Gina Torres.
