Former University of Iowa participant Caitlin Clark has been in the headlines seemingly continuously since transitioning to professional sports.

The number one WNBA draft pick, who found herself joining the Indiana Fever, undoubtedly isn't just quietly sitting on the sidelines in her first season post-college.

Instead, Caitlin is simply as much the debate of town as she used to be when she was once so carefully watched at the college stage.

First, we have an update on the WNBA player's ear injury. According to Marca, after an intense recreation with New York Liberty on June 2, 2024, Caitlin sustained an ear injury. However, not a lot is understood about what is flawed with her ear or if she might be out of upcoming games in consequence.

Some social media users claim that this isn't the previously unknown player's first incident with rough behavior. Reportedly, she was let go from Atlanta after threatening to beat up her teammates, among other allegations.

Meanwhile, Chennedy even stood by her actions after the WNBA upgraded her foul to a flagrant-1 violation in a postgame review, tweeting, "We grown as f--k and y’all speaking about enforcer. Man get the f--k out of right here, hoop or shut up …."

Angel Reese, who was widely viewed as cheering on her teammate following the violation, was also fined $1,000 for refusing to be interviewed after the game. Her team received a $5,000 fine for violating media policies, per AP News.

As for how Caitlin handled the incident, if you ask her coach Christie Sides, she was a pro. Christie said, "She confirmed it last night time. Got up and stored playing. All she did was ask the officers to check it. They didn’t need to listen to it. I applaud her for how she handled it final night.”
