'Euphoria' lovers have noticed the absence of actor Algee Smith, who plays Chris McKay. Is the actor leaving the show, or will he be back for Season 3?

When Season 2 of Euphoria returned remaining month, fanatics had been sitting at the edge of their seats, ready to look if Christopher McKay (Algee Smith) and Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney) would stay boyfriend and girlfriend or ultimately call it quits. Cassie ended up getting pregnant, and when McKay found out, he told her that he didn't suppose it might be good for her to keep it. At the tip of Season 1, it appeared that he and Cassie's courting was perpetually damaged after she had the abortion.
However, when the display returned for Season 2, audience got a glimpse of hope. McKay showed up at the New Year’s Eve birthday celebration at Virgil’s (Siyon Foster) house to check out and get again along side his girlfriend. However, Cassie alluded to the fact that she had moved on, telling him she did not wish to be anyone's girlfriend.
The only different time during that episode that audiences saw McKay was once when he emerged to lend a hand raise Nate (Jacob Elordi) after his bloody altercation with Fezco (Angus Cloud). Since then, McKay has no longer gave the impression on Euphoria, and with the Season 2 finale airing quickly, enthusiasts ponder whether this is the tip for the nature. After Cassie ended issues with McKay previous this season, their possibilities of being an item once more gave the impression bleak, particularly since she hooked up with Nate. Still, audiences idea that McKay would pop up once more one day right through Season 2 of Euphoria.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, the actor mentioned his lack of screentime on the collection. The 27-year-old disclosed that he and the show's writer Sam Levinson have no longer talked about the place his persona's arc is headed, revealing, "I'm not even really sure, to be honest with you. I think that's a question we have to ask our creator ... where he sees it going."
