Is Ginny pregnant in 'Ginny and Georgia'?

As much as Ginny and Georgia does set it up to glance this way, it does not appear to be Ginny is pregnant toward the end of Season 1. And even though Ginny has sex (along with her easiest friend's twin brother, unhealthy boy Marcus), she's clearly very mindful of the undeniable fact that her mom Georgia had her when she used to be her age. Ginny does apply a equivalent trail as her mother, however another way than audience may initially think.

Ginny can not care for all the drama in her life (studying her mom killed her stepdad, her friends not truly enjoying the fact that she's sound asleep with Marcus whilst dating Hunter, and Hunter also — unsurprisingly! — no longer taking part in the indisputable fact that she's sleeping with Marcus) so she runs away. Just like Georgia does! She and Austin thieve their mom's bike and force off. "Knowing some things about a person, you can't come back from that," Ginny says in a voiceover.

We do not know the place she's headed, and even her own mom has no concept that her kids have run away. At the end of Season 1, Georgia feels excellent about her existence selections (maybe not "good," but she undoubtedly stands by way of her actions) as a result of they have got all been for her children. Yes, she murdered Kenny — nevertheless it was because he was (TW) molesting Ginny when she used to be a kid. However, there is an investigation occurring, and it's possible that they are catching directly to Georgia.

"[Ginny] will never have to know the fear and desperation that I did," Georgia thinks to herself as Ginny runs away with Austin, slightly desperately. It's no longer not possible that Ginny will end up pregnant (very similar to how Rory Gilmore finally ends up all of a sudden pregnant in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, and turns out to be destined to live her mom's life, regardless of how hard Lorelai suggested her in the wrong way). But it almost certainly hasn't happened in Season 1.

And not like Gilmore Girls, Ginny and Georgia in point of fact does seem to be about how we are other from our oldsters. It's additionally a lot darker! After all, Lorelai never murdered somebody (that we all know of). Plus, there may be much more to discover in later seasons. "Season 1 really did feel like a season 1. We just started uncovering some of the layers for all characters, across the board, that we want to dive into. Deb and I are hoping we get the chance," show creator Sarah Lampter shared.
