Gio claims he performed a significant role in securing the assets for the Oppenheim Group. He claims that his boss, Jason Oppenheim, and "office management" reached out to him when the list for the assets had expired and was owned by any other agent at some other brokerage.
As it seems, Gio used to paintings with this agent — so Jason and management referred to as him and requested for ways on easy methods to persuade the agent to present the listing to the Oppenheim Group. However, in spite of Gio's involvement, when the Oppenheim Group in any case got the list, Jason assigned it to Kayla, which Gio found unjust.
