After more than six a long time within the tune business, the 86-year-old superstar is still shining. Willie appears within the made-for-TV holiday movie Dolly Parton’s Magic Mountain Christmas, which premieres on NBC Thursday, Dec. 1.

Willie Nelson used to be recognized with COVID-19 in May 2022.
Although Willie managed to avoid catching the coronavirus for 2 years, bad luck finally caught up with him this summer. His spouse, Annie D’Angelo, informed the New York Times that she and her husband had been on tour when his health took a flip for the worse.
According to her, they had been stopped in Nashville, Tenn., when Willie tested sure for COVID-19. With this, he was pressured to cancel and put off a collection of presentations on his tour.
“There have been a couple of occasions after I wasn’t positive he was going to make it. I had a beautiful rough time with it. COVID ain’t nothing to be giggling at, that’s for sure,” Annie informed the opening.
Following his restoration, Willie got right again out on degree — but no longer without his wife placing a few precautions in place first. Along with a mask mandate, everyone (including his bandmates) will have to stay six feet away from the singer on degree.

“If I should be the bad guy to stay him safe, I’ll be the bad man. An endemic doesn’t care who you might be, what you believe, how famous you might be,” the singer’s wife of greater than 20 years added.

As of this writing, Willie appears to be in nice health.
Earlier this 12 months, he kicked off his tour and has since taken the degree in dozens of cities like Austin, Texas, Raleigh, N.C., and Pittsburg, Penn. In July, he rocked the stage with Kacey Musgraves at the Palomino Festival in Pasadena, Calif., and his cross-country pilgrimage isn’t over but.
In mid-November, Willie took to Instagram to announce that he’s also slated to perform on the 12th annual Outlaws and Legends Festival in Abilene, Texas subsequent spring.
Willie’s schedule is jam-packed for the following few months, which with a bit of luck gained’t exasperate his already current health issues. After all, the man’s lung did cave in a few years ago.
