'The Haunting of Bly Manor' arrived on Netflix Oct. 9 and fans are questioning whether or not it's a sequel to 'The Haunting of Hill House.'

While the story of The Haunting of Bly Manor doesn’t appear to be associated with The Haunting of Hill House, the brand new series does use some of the similar forged members. Is 'The Haunting of Bly Manor' a sequel?
Technically, The Haunting of Bly Manor is a follow-up to 2018’s The Haunting of Hill House, with much of the same forged and creative staff returning to the collection. However, the narratives of the 2 collection aren't hooked up.
The Haunting of Hill House used to be tailored from Shirley Jackson’s 1959 horror novel of the similar identify. The Haunting of Bly Manor, alternatively, takes inspiration from Henry James’ famous Gothic-Romance classic The Turn of the Screw, in addition to from other Henry James ghost tales.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who played Luke Crain, and Kate Siegel, who gained the hearts of fanatics with her acerbic one-liners as Theodora Crain, may even join the rest of the forged at Bly Manor. Catherine Parker, who appeared as ghost Poppy Hill within the first season, will reappear as smartly.
There are also a lot of new, yet familiar faces that joined the forged of Bly Manor, like T'Nia Miller from HBO’s Years and Years, and Rahul Kohli of CW’s Supergirl. Newcomer Amelia Eve. The Haunting of Bly Manor debuted on Netflix on Oct. 9, 2020 and whilst the sequence was once met with some starkly combined opinions — people both liked it or hated it, many people wanted to know if there was once going to be a third access within the Haunting series.
It does not look like there's going to be a Season 3 of any 'Haunting' sequence. So no new 'Hill House' or 'Bly Manor' entries either.
Showrunner Mike Flanagan has said on Twitter that there aren't any further plans for brand new entries in the Haunting sequence on Netflix as Intrepid Pictures has its hands full with different productions nowadays. It's arduous to suppose that Netflix wouldn't at least believe a third access in the sequence. Even regardless that audiences gave the impression to be cut up down the middle as to the Bly Manor story, I'd assume that audience would no less than give a third series a chance.
