Jennifer Lopez's Parents Have a Lot To Do With Her Insane Level of Success

You are such a lot a part of all I'm. You made me believe I could do the rest and I wouldn’t be the lady I am these days of it weren’t for you."

Though her mom and dad divorced in 1999, the Hustlers actress has remained close to both of her parents. Driven by her father’s love of the New York Mets, she even tried to become a co-owner of the MLB team earlier this year.
"I feel like he is all the time been proud [of me], since I was like running observe when I was 9 or 10 years previous," J.Lo said of David in 2016. And as her star rose to new heights, he continued to serve as an unwavering pillar of support.
"He truly thinks about what I am going thru," she instructed Hoda Kotb on The Today Show. "He mentioned to me one time, he goes, 'I just need you to know of all the other people in the world, there is one one who just loves you and does not need the rest from you. You have that in your lifestyles.'"
