On Jan. 15, 2024, Brent Sikkema was once found dead by his good friend and attorney in his townhouse in Rio de Janeiro, in step with a report by The Daily Mail. The 75-year-old art broker was identified for his Manhattan artwork galleries that featured works by prominent artists, together with Kara Walker, Jeffrey Gibson, and Viz Muniz. His paintings within the art global caught the eye of extremely influential figures similar to former First Lady Michelle Obama, with whom the art gallery owner used to be reportedly pals.
