Karen Huger's Prized Maserati Was Totaled During Her "Frightening" Car Crash
Karen mentioned she's "grateful I'm alive" and is "still in shock" after the "frightening" automobile crash that totaled her automobile.

In March 2024, Bravo's The Real Housewives of Potomac lovers were playing type police and judging the cast's Season 8 reunion looks. One of the breakout outfits used to be The Grande Dame herself, Karen Huger. On social media, Karen received praise in her comments for eating her castmates up in a Toni Maticevski sublime dress along with her signature blonde hair in an updo.
One day after the forged's reunion looks dropped, Karen was once in the news for something deeper than her models. The DMV OG used to be charged with a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) and a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated/Impaired) in a high-speed car crash.
Thankfully, Karen is doing OK and did not suffer any serious accidents. However, the crash led to Karen's beloved Maserati being totaled on the scene.

Karen has regularly flaunted her wealth all the way through her time on RHOP. In Season 3 of the truth show, Karen offered the ladies to her shocking 2017 black Maserati. The car was once frequently part of Karen's scenes, as she drove round handing over color to Gizelle Bryant and somebody else who crossed her. Unfortunately, Karen's Maserati was once a casualty of her automotive crash.
According to Page Six, a a representative for the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland told TMZ she was once driving "too fast for the conditions" of the road that day and "struck a median and a crosswalk sign at an intersection before slamming into a parking sign off the roadway." The crash caused the airbag in Karen's automobile to move off. The damages to Karen's automobile had been reportedly so critical she couldn't power it anymore and needed to have a tow truck take it away.

Although Karen will likely be with out her Maserati, the Bravolebrity is protected and sound, which is what is most essential. Additionally, Karen wasn't within the automobile with any individual during the crash.
On March 20, she released a statement to TMZ sharing what led to her automobile crash in her own phrases. She mentioned the loss of her mom, Georgia Raines Wooden, who died in November 2017, sparked her to force in such an "emotional state."
"Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes during this very frightening experience," Karen shared. "I am still in shock from last night's incident but grateful to be alive today. With the passing of my Beloved Mother, Grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mother's Day approaching, it has felt more like a tsunami."
"Last night I met a girlfriend for dinner, we talked and brought up some very emotionally sensitive topics," she added. "I was crying on my way home and saw a car heading right for me. I swerved to avoid the head-on collision, hit the divider and then a tree. I'm hurt, bruised up a bit, but so grateful I am alive!"
The ‘RHOP’ OG wasn’t arrested for her function within the crash regardless of receiving a DUI and "citations."
According to a Montgomery County Police consultant, Karen was once driving her car in an "aggressive manner," resulting in the crash. The "aggressive" using was reportedly because of Karen's feelings and her allegedly being below the affect.
In addition to her DUI and DWI, Montgomery Police charged Karen with multiple citations ranging from $50 to $510. Page Six also reported that Karen would have to make a number of court appearances, even though she hasn't been arrested. Karen addressed her citations in her commentary to TMZ. She confirmed she "did receive citations" and said, "one of which was unrelated to the incident, which is understandable."
However, she stated probably the most shocking second was once figuring out the automobile that virtually hit her "drove away." While discussing the crash's have an effect on, Karen remained thankful and warned her fanatics about the risks of driving in a damaging "emotional state." She also "stressed" the importance of all the time using with a seatbelt and declared doing so stored her existence.
"I would like to stress that it’s important to understand your emotional state when driving," she begged. "And may this be a reminder to all to use their seatbelts. My Mother may be my Guardian Angel, but the seatbelt saved my life."
We're happy the Grande Dame is doing OK and apparently learned a number of necessary lessons!
