The sitcom The Goldbergs was created through Adam F. Goldberg and in line with his early life and family in Pennsylvania in the '80s. Adam frequently videotaped events all through his formative years, and the unique tapes are shown in every episode before the tip credits. Adult Adam (Patton Oswalt) narrates the display.
In March 2021, George Segal, who portrayed Adam's grandfather in the series, passed on to the great beyond. His final episode aired on April 7.
