The HBO sequence The Idol tells the tale of Jocelyn, or "Joss," a former mega pop superstar looking to make a comeback. Lily-Rose Depp, aka Johnny Depp's daughter with ex Vanessa Paradis, stars as Joss while Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye stars as Tedros, a mysterious nightclub supervisor with a gloomy previous who doubles as her love hobby.

Although Lily has years of acting experience beneath her belt — with credits in The Dancer, Planetarium, The King, and more — that is her greatest role yet. And given that she is the offspring of arguably one of probably the most well-known actors of all time, many fanatics went into looking at the collection with top hopes.

But unfortunately, the evaluations on her efficiency and those with regards to the show as a whole have not been the most productive.

The display is being dragged for its overly specific and from time to time violent sex scenes that includes Lily and The Weeknd, who's nine years her senior.

While it can be uncomfortable for a father to observe his daughter celebrity in such graphic scenes, Johnny has no factor with Lily's role in The Idol.
