Adrienne Bankert Isn't on NewsNation Every Morning, but Viewers Don't Need to Worry

Every morning, we used to tune into NewsNation for a competent morning broadcast from co-hosts Adrienne Bankert and Markie Martin. Owned through the Nexstar Media Group, NewsNation calls itself an “unbiased news supply,” and amid all the Fox News and CNNs of these days, we need in point of fact unbiased networks.

However, Adrienne is now not on the morning information as of Jan. 22, 2024. This leaves audience questioning what happened to Adrienne and if she determined to leave NewsNation. If so, why did she leave?

Adrienne Bankert did not depart NewsNation, but she did changed positions at the network.

While Adrienne’s fanatics might concern that she left NewsNation in the back of, that isn't the case. Her occupation has taken an upward trajectory as she focuses extra on investigative journalism. She used to be first brought onto NewsNation in 2021 after a brief stint as an ABC information anchor. “I really like to say we're having brunch,” Adrienne said in an interview about the show when it moved to a four-hour format in 2023 (by the use of Variety).

“Breakfast is pretty quick for Americans and, obviously, there’s no longer going to be people who watch all four hours, relatively generally, however we can have something for everybody. We can have more of a dialog around the anchor desk,” she added. “It has always been my purpose to create a warmth across the news to really have a dialog with everyday other folks, not simply pundits and experts.”

Adrienne and Markie started webhosting together in the summer of 2023 as NewsNation aimed to provide information much less partisan than its competition. However, it still falls far in the back of the viewership of channels like Fox, CNN, MSNBC, and different information sources. But in its efforts, Adrienne and Markie became a part of many Americans’ regular morning routines.

However, Adrienne is moving on. On Jan. 11, 2024, Nexstar announced in a press release, “The weekday version of Morning in America will transition to a three-hour program with solo anchor Markie Martin from 6-Nine a.m. EST. Morning in America co-host Adrienne Bankert will grow to be NewsNation’s Special Projects anchor and begin a new sequence centered on faith in America debuting in February 2024 entitled, ‘One Nation Under God.’”

This is steadily a good sign for broadcasters, giving them extra agency over which stories they quilt and permitting them to move deep in investigation.
