Fans of the NBC clinical drama are rightfully questioning where is Georgia on New Amsterdam? Here's what is up with Max's wife.
If you might have tuned into New Amsterdam in the previous couple of weeks, you could have probably been missing one or two characters in contemporary episodes. In reality, Dr. Goodwin's perpetually pregnant partner (seriously, is she ever having that child?) hasn't been seen since March 5, when she and Max attended Lamaze classes in combination in S1E15, "Croaklahoma." No, really, where is Georgia on New Amsterdam?
The worry definitely higher within the snowstorm episode, when the writers really looked to be leaning into the conceivable romantic chemistry between Dr. Goodwin and Dr. Sharpe (Freema Agyeman). Plus, as Max's most cancers therapies intensify, it is been atypical not to see his wife via his facet all over any of his radiation and chemotherapy appointments.
Unfortunately, it is going to be some time longer before audience will see Georgia, but she's now not long past for good. According to IMDb, Lisa O'Hare seems within the season finale, "Luna," which is slated to air May 14, and it will have to end up to be a large scene for her character.

Lisa's sporadic appearances on the display are most likely due to her real-life maternity leave. Off-screen, the actress gave beginning to her 2d kid, a daughter named Avery, in past due March. And it seems the general episode of the season will carry the beginning of her persona's baby if the title is a clue. Luna used to be Max's sister, and it sort of feels almost sure he would make the child namesake to her late aunt.

Lisa wasn't the one New Amsterdam celebrity on maternity leave...
In truth, Dr. Bloom's rehab stint is what enabled actress Janet Montgomery to enjoy some break day together with her personal new child. While Lisa's pregnancy worked ideally along with her personality's arc, it wasn't reasonably right for Lauren's storyline, so her pregnancy used to be hid with angles and cloth wardrobe, and her absence defined by way of a rehab stay to handle her Adderall dependency.

Though Janet's been within the credits for the previous couple episodes, she didn't have any display screen time. However, she too will likely be again in time for the finale. She and her spouse, Joe Fox, welcomed their first daughter, Sunday Juno Fox, just a couple weeks sooner than Lisa's new addition made her debut.
Thankfully, it sounds like the New Amsterdam set is a welcoming position for newborns. "Went back to work this week and couldn't be more grateful to my Dam Fam for making the transition so easy," Janet wrote of her go back to manufacturing three weeks ago. "Being able to have Sunday close by on set is such a luxury that most mums don't get and I don't take for granted how extremely blessed I am."
New Amsterdam airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
